Privacy

Create a small retreat with a wicker hanging chair.

A cozy place to cuddle with your favorite book or glass of wine. Add a little music and you have it - a buyers dream.

Soothing
& Relaxing

Water sounds create soothing feelings of gentle peacefulness. One where buyers can imagine themselves relaxing after a stressful day at work.

They also help cover up traffic noise, as well as noise from your immediate neighbors. Fountains  add infinite charm to your patio or balcony.

Fabulous Patios

Outdoor Curtains

Opulence - having curtains hung on your patio gives an air of opulence and luxury.  Kings, Queens and pharaohs relaxed in such grandeur. Now your buyer can imagine themselves doing likewise.

Intimacy - curtains provide a buyer with a sense of privacy and intimacy.  A place where they can relax in their own world reading a magazine or cuddling with that special person, away from the eyes of the world.

Curtains should be made of materials designed to be outdoors, subject to sun, rain and wind.

The Colors & Materials

Be bold with pillows and accessories, but subtle with your curtains. Keep in mind the colors or the room next to the patio. Off white, sandstone and beiges blend with many landscapes and furniture pieces.

Small patios lend themselves well to light weight and sheer materials. Larger patios can handle heavy weight materials well.

Music and Fountains

Music and fountains are excellent for creating moods - especially for romantic evenings and entertaining friends. With music you can change a buyers mood in a heart beat. Playing music appropriate for your homes' theme and market (the most likely type of buyer) will enhance the marketing of your home. Give some thought to what music that you will play, just as you do in the paint colors that you choose for your home.

Air-conditioners and street noise can distract buyers

Sellers often loose a sale because buyers feel that the street noise is too high for them. You may be perfectly comfortable and used to the street noise, but not so for many buyers. Have a trusted friend give you their opinion if the noise level is noticeable. If so, even if they say just a little bit, then you should do something to mask or lessen the impact of the noise. Fountains are great for this.

Entertaining

Stage your patio to reflect on how buyers can see themselves entertaining their friends. Where they can laugh and have conversations on solving the worlds problems. Where intimate conversations can take place and where gentle thoughts of LOVE can be whispered in their lovers ear.

Tables, chairs and sofas are perfect for these occasions. Ones of wicker, metal or wood, with plush cushions and colorful pillows. Create an Oasis of enchantment and entertainment. One that your buyers dream of.
